Terms of Service.
The rules for using Trellis. We kept it readable on purpose.
The short version
- Your data is yours. We never claim ownership of your Airtable bases, Webflow sites, or any content you manage through Trellis.
- We build the tool, you use it. Trellis creates and manages CMS structures. We don't modify your content without your explicit action.
- Pay for what you use. The architect fee is a one-time charge per site. Sync is a separate optional subscription. Cancel anytime.
- Don't abuse the service. Use Trellis for its intended purpose. Don't try to break it, reverse-engineer it, or use it to harm others.

1. Agreement to Terms
By creating an account or using Trellis ("the Service"), operated by Pitch Space LLC ("we," "us," "our"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
2. The Service
Trellis is a content management layer that connects Airtable and Webflow. The Service allows you to:
- Create and manage CMS collection structures across Airtable and Webflow
- Sync content between platforms (on eligible paid plans)
- Import content via CSV upload
- Manage fields, collections, and content types through a unified dashboard
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service with reasonable notice.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately at skye@trelliscms.com.
You must be at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction to use the Service.
4. Payment Terms
Trellis offers the following payment structures:
- Architect fee: A one-time charge per site for CMS structure creation and field management during development.
- Sync subscription: An optional monthly subscription for ongoing content synchronization between Airtable and Webflow. Billed monthly. Cancel anytime — your sync will remain active through the end of the billing period.
All payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number or payment details — Stripe handles that entirely. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Prices may change with 30 days' notice. Existing subscriptions will be honored at their current rate until the next renewal.
Refunds for the one-time architect fee are available within 7 days of purchase if you haven't used the tool to create structures in your connected platforms. Sync subscription refunds are not available for partial months.
5. Data Handling
When you connect Airtable or Webflow, Trellis reads your schema (field names, types, and a small number of sample rows) to help configure your CMS. We do not store your content data beyond what is necessary to provide the Service.
OAuth tokens for connected platforms are encrypted using AES-256-GCM before being stored in our database. For full details on how we handle your data, see our Security page and Privacy Policy.
You can disconnect your accounts and request data deletion at any time.
6. Intellectual Property
Your content: You retain all ownership of your Airtable data, Webflow content, CSV files, and any other content you manage through Trellis. We claim no intellectual property rights over your content.
Our tool: Trellis — including its design, code, CMS templates, content type taxonomy, field suggestions, and documentation — is the intellectual property of Pitch Space LLC. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the Service.
The CMS structures we help you create (collections, fields, references) belong to you. They live in your connected platform accounts, and you retain full ownership and control.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data or our infrastructure
- Overload the Service with automated requests beyond normal usage
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
- Resell or redistribute the Service without written permission
- Use the Service to store or transmit malicious code
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
8. Third-Party Services
Trellis integrates with Airtable, Webflow, Stripe, and OpenAI. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of third-party services.
9. Service Availability
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. Trellis runs on Google Cloud Platform (Firebase), and our uptime depends in part on their infrastructure. We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party service outages, scheduled maintenance, or events beyond our reasonable control.
10. Limitation of Liability
Trellis is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
11. Termination
You can delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, we will remove your account data, encrypted tokens, and configuration data from our systems. CMS structures already created in your Airtable and Webflow accounts will remain — they live in your platforms, not ours.
We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms, with notice when possible.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice in the app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of New York County, New York.
